October is National Physical Therapy Month

October is National Physical Therapy Month!  Check out the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) for some great information on how physical therapy can help you, and answer questions related to your aches, pains and injuries.

Did you know?

  • One study found physical therapy helped 92% of patients with low back pain. Spine, July 2008
  •  88% of physical therapy users say the care they received was beneficial to helping them return to normal activity, increasing their range of motion, and relieving their pain. APTA Consumer Survey, October 2007

Speaking of low back pain check out link on the effects of prolonged sitting (as so many of us do!).
