The weather is warm and the sun shines longer into the night. We are busy from one project or event to another. How do we get a good night’s sleep when it is hot and the sun is still shining.
1) Limit your exposure to light later at night. Wear sunglasses or invest in room darkening shades.
2) Your bedroom should be ideal for sleeping. Is the temperature just right, is it cool enough. Is your mattress still functioning, do you toss and turn due to its wear and tear. Are your sheets comfortable, maybe invest in some new cotton or silk sheets for summer.
3) Slow down about 2 hours before bedtime, use this time to relax and get ready for bedtime.
