Pink Glove Dance filming off to a great start

The turnout at the kickoff filming of the 2013 Pink Glove Dance knocked our socks off! The group at the Fond du Lac Relay for Life sure knew how to show their support of a good cause. Not only did we grab some great footage of pink-gloved survivors and supporters, our pig roast raised $1,066 that was donated back to the American Cancer Society. Wow! We owe a special thank you to the associates and providers at the Agnesian Cancer Center for working hard to serve up not only the best care, but also a really good pork sandwich!

This year’s Pink Glove Dance contest comes with the opportunity to win $25,000 for the American Cancer Society. Check out for more details on the nationwide competition. Join the movement locally by getting involved! Our next filming will be at our Hot August Nights Celebration at 1088 S. Main Street in Fond du Lac next Wednesday, August 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. Stay tuned for more filming dates, as well as details on the voting process.

A group of us are trying to get some general information regarding the local Fond du Lac participation in the Pink Glove Dance project. Who is the “go to” person for this? I looked at the National rules for participation but it is a little confusing and overwhelming.

    Thanks for your help.
