How come most women are never happy with what they have?

Woman thinkingHow come most women are never happy with what they have? I am included in this statement!  I wish I was thinner; I wish my hair was thicker; I wish I was better at my job; and the list goes on and on…

The need to be different is actually depressing to me. If this is how God made us, how can we go wrong? As I age, I am finally realizing that my body, hair, teeth, whatever, isn’t perfect, but no one else’s is either, unless they had help. If I love myself for who I am, others will love me and isn’t that what it is all about – LOVE?

My New Year’s resolution is to stop beating myself up and to LOVE myself more! I will work on giving myself more credit and less strife. I hope you will too!

I like the quote:

As. you. are.
Stronger than you know.
More beautiful than you think.
Worthier than you believe.
More loved than you can ever imagine.
Passionate about making a difference.
Fiery when protecting those you love.
Learning. Growing. Not alone.
Warm. Giving. Generous.
Quirky. Sexy. Funny. Smart.
Flawed. Whole. Scared. Brave.
And so, so, so.much.more.

Be Strong. Be Confident. Be You. ~ Copyright: Tia Sparkles Singh, 2011.
