Spring – a time to clean and organize!

spring cleaningThat is what spring is all about – wash windows, clean rugs, clean those areas we have neglected all winter. I just love the feeling of a clean house and the best part is having one that is organized.

I am not an expert on organization, far from, but I like to take things that are used for something and make them do something else. Here are some examples you may want to try this spring:

  • Take the head of an old metal rake and hang on the wall upside down as a place to hang your necklaces or as a fun wine rack.
  • Take drawers from an old dresser, line the inside with fun shelving liner and hang on the wall as shadow boxes or a place for books.
  • Take one clip board or several and hang on the wall as a gallery of photos or for your childrens’ school art projects.
