When my son was young, my husband and I would pitch a tent on the deck or in the backyard to enjoy the “modified” camping life. I was never a camper, but the thought of the campfire, smores and the stars was always enough for me to get excited. Problem, I would usually end up in the house by midnight due to allergies. Now, looking back, why didn’t I take an antihistamine to get through? My son, now a teenager, would laugh at the thought of us tenting it in the backyard. Don’t let the summer slip by without camping out! Time goes by too fast, not to enjoy the simple pleasures in life and smores!
